SEED Profiles respects your privacy. The SEED Profiles Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information, what we collect, how we use and share it, and your choices. Our services are intended for adults age 18 and older.

• WHO MAY USE SEED PROFILES

SEED Profiles is intended for adults 18 and older. You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account, complete an assessment, purchase services or subscriptions, or submit personal information.

• INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The information we collect depends on how you use SEED Profiles.

• Contact Information. You may provide your name, email address, phone number, or other contact details when creating a SEED Profiles account, completing a website form, requesting information, or contacting our sales or support team.

• Stories and Personal Responses. You may submit assessment responses, accomplishments, personal stories, work and education history, skills, resumes, job descriptions, career preferences, optional voice recordings, and other information you choose to enter. 

• Purchases and Referrals. We may collect purchase and transaction details, and referral, partner, or sponsored-profile information. 

• Profiles and Career Insights. We create information from your responses, including your SEED Profile, motivation and work-style insights, and any job-fit comparisons you request. These results are derived from the information you share.

• HOW WE USE INFORMATION AND AI 

We use information to provide and improve services, process assessments, create profiles and career materials, manage accounts, payments, subscriptions and sponsored services, provide support, communicate with you, prevent fraud, and meet legal and recordkeeping obligations.

AI helps transcribe recordings, organize stories, interpret responses, and generate career insights and materials. Third-party AI providers may process your information when needed for these features. Review results before relying on or sharing them; they may contain errors or incomplete interpretations. Results support career and personal development and are not medical, psychiatric, psychological, or clinical diagnoses.

• VOICE RECORDINGS

Recordings you choose to make may be transmitted and temporarily processed into text. We do not intentionally retain raw recordings after processing, but may retain text created from recordings. We do not use your voice for biometric identification or authentication. 

• SENSITIVE INFORMATION

Please avoid unnecessary sensitive information in your stories or other submissions, including passwords, account credentials, financial or medical details, criminal history, and private information about others.

• SPONSORED PROFILES, PARTNERS, HIRING PRACTICES, AND SHARING

• Partner Access. A referral alone does not grant access to your profile. After appropriate authorization and consent, partners or employers may receive finished profile and career information, including work history, education, skills, and job-fit results. Partners and employers do not receive raw assessment answers, raw voice recordings, raw transcripts, internal AI prompts, or internal processing information through standard SEED sharing features. 

• Sharing Links. Anyone with a valid sharing link may view, copy, save, or screenshot the information you share. Links may expire or be revoked. Share only with people or organizations you trust.

• PAYMENTS

We use a third-party payment processor and do not intentionally store full card numbers or security codes. We may retain transaction amounts, dates, purchase and subscription details, payment status, refunds, and disputes for billing, support, accounting, tax, fraud prevention, audit, and legal needs. 

• SERVICE PROVIDERS

Service providers help with hosting, AI, transcription, payments, email, security, and other operations. They may process personal information on our behalf. Their processing, retention, backup, and security practices may be governed by their own agreements and policies.

• COOKIES AND TECHNICAL INFORMATION

We may use cookies, browser storage, and technical information such as IP addresses, device details, sessions, activity, referrals, and error logs to operate the service, remember choices, prevent misuse, improve performance, and understand usage. 

• COMMUNICATIONS

We may contact you about your account, assessments, profiles, purchases, security, access, support, and invitations for sponsored profiles. Promotional or informational messages may be sent where permitted. Where required, you may unsubscribe from promotions while continuing to receive essential account, security, and transaction messages. 

• SALE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

SEED Profiles does not sell personal information as part of its business model. We may share information as needed to operate services, process payments, provide requested features, protect security, comply with law, or follow your instructions. 

• ADMINISTRATIVE ACCESS

Authorized personnel may access information when reasonably necessary to operate services, manage accounts and partner programs, provide support, address billing, investigate fraud or misuse, protect security, handle privacy requests, or meet legal obligations.

• RETENTION, DELETION, ACCESS AND CORRECTION

• Retention. We keep information as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business and financial records, resolve disputes, prevent misuse, and meet security, audit, and legal obligations. Removed information may remain temporarily in backups or provider systems. 

• Deletion. You may request account and information deletion. We may delete or remove identifying details from account, story, and profile information while retaining limited financial, partner payment, security, audit, or legal records as reasonably needed. Deletion may not immediately remove provider backups or legally required records.

• Access and Correction. You may update certain account information, download available career documents, or contact us to request access, corrections, available copies, deletion, or help with privacy questions.

• SECURITY

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, but no system is completely secure. You are responsible for protecting your login information and using care when sharing your profile.

• U.S. AND INTERNATIONAL USERS

SEED Profiles primarily serves U.S. users but may be accessible elsewhere. If you use it outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to or processed in the U.S. or other countries where providers operate.

• LEGAL REQUIREMENTS AND PROTECTION OF RIGHTS

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law or lawful requests, protect rights, safety, or property, investigate fraud, misuse, or security incidents, enforce agreements, or defend against legal claims.

• CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update this policy as our services, technology, or legal obligations change. We may update the effective date and provide additional notice where appropriate. Please review it periodically.
